What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Going to day nine Barlow challenge a few hours early. (only 10 hours 59 minutes early when they went in my pocket.).
SARGE "Official BSA" Barlow (may be my Barlow challenge carry for day nine to fifthteen inclusive ... I haven't decided yet.)
Maple Burl covers, sadly they appear unoccupied. ☹️🥺.
I guess unoccupied may be better for the Scouts ... no nightmares when canping out. 🙄
I'm not sure on the blade steel. Listing and packaging said "440C".
Sticker on primary blade said "440A". 🤨
No matter, it holds a edge and cuts.
Supposedly SARGE had this model made in the USA, not offshore. If true, I don't know who they contracted with.

I'm pairng it with my HB4RPB Taylor - Schrade Hammer Brand Gunboat canoe.
Red picked bone covers, 440A blades.

The rest of my carry today is the same.
That gunboat! Such a great looking knife!

This Moran may be my favorite of them all. Carry with pride, sir!
Yes, Fred the SAK backtools are kind of a bonus that can serve in a pinch. I think the corkscrew is about the only tool that works better that way. But I don’t drink, so prefer a phillips screwdriver there.

ALOX SAKs have no backtools, so if they are blessed with an awl it’s inline. And my two ALOX models have the real awl, not that wedge shaped thing.
Thanks for the awlfully punchy lesson Jeff. Yer' always one of the most interested in the non-knife parts of knives, which is something I identify with. Always MacGyver'n something around here, it pays to pack steel of many shapes and forms. That's quite the Schrade you have today, oozing class and atavism ;)

Your canoe has serious chops Steve, love that bone especially!
