Its a movementI agree, but good luck convincing my children of that (or my wife, for that matter).![]()
I thought it was appaloosaI decided to go with my smooth bone Case 08 half whittler this week.
Somebody once called this the Accidental Appaloosa, and that's a very fitting name for it.
I had no clue just how identical this was to Appaloosa bone till I found this 1980 example online.
There's another that looks even more like mine too but I couldn't get the pictures.
2 spring, I think it's 2021.Its a movement
I thought it was appaloosa
Regardless, its a good looking knife
Is it a one spring or a two spring?
I can't even convince my own wife not to put ketchup on hot dogs. She's brilliant (I tell everyone that she's the smart one, I'm the loud one), but on this one point we disagree entirely. That’s a great pattern.

That’s a good looking TC!
I’ve got my Rosewood HHB and an Opinel (No. 7) with me today.

Skip the ketchup and mustard...throw some chili and cheese on it.I can't even convince my own wife not to put ketchup on hot dogs. She's brilliant (I tell everyone that she's the smart one, I'm the loud one), but on this one point we disagree entirely.
You're carrying two of my favorite knives today - great combination!
Much appreciated, Todd -- I love the Kingwood on that one.Super classy Jim.![]()
Ah, "accidental appaloosa"2 spring, I think it's 2021.
The knife started as white smooth bone but some leather dye on my hands leeched off and did this to it.
Mr.Moran sure has the Midas touch. Very nice FC.![]()
Black Moran Monday, with the Erickson riding on my hip for rougher use.
That Moran is perfect!![]()

"Matching Micarta Monday" is one big bowl of alliteration to start the week!I dropped the 15 in my pocket this morning, and received the 82 in the mail just before lunch creating an accidental matching micarta Monday.
