Thanks brother- good to be back in the land of flowing English and Chick-fil-A 👍🏼. Although…I will say, I did develop quite a liking for horse while I was over there. Quite tasty. Tastes like roast beef 👊🏼 😂.

Yessir! Lots of great stories and great people 👍🏼.

Thanks buddy. Good to go and good to be back 👍🏼.

😂😂😂. I didn’t run into Borat, but I think I did see some of his relatives!

So glad ya had a safe trip. Awesome pics!

Here's my 2 for the day, with one of my new B&O slips to the side. It is absolutely amazing getting 3 slips of pretty much any color or pattern ya want for LESS THAN $60 (with the coupon on the front page of website)!!! I mean, it's a crazy good deal. Many thanks as always Beard&Owl Beard&Owl Hope everyone has a good week.

Cheery yellow late model Camillus Stockman to greet the sun, my GEC Johnny On The Spot Electrician in a pocket, and my Wenger 55 Ranger in a sheath.
Thanks for the views of your knives, everybody.

Edit: yes, the two knives are posed on the Halloween pumpkin that I plopped down by a Spruce tree in the front yard. It looks like it sort of melted down to the ground, but the shell has dried out, and is hard. I guess it’s to protect the seeds.
If all goes as planned, I’ll have pumpkin vines sprawling out from it later.

Canoes of the Week are both Rough Riders for March 10-16. One has yellow synthetic covers and carbon blades, and the other has Painted Desert acrylic covers and stainless blades.

Great looking canoes.👍
I'd wager a tepid cuppa instant coffee, or a stale dounut the Painted Desert would look even better with nicely patina'd blades.
(and the Classic Carbon RR1736 would too, without the two large "R"s on the bolsters. 🙄)

Does you Classic Carbon RR1736 have a properly cut (or stamped?) pull so that the thumbnail don't slip off?

The first one I bought felt like the top of the pull on the main had a slight tilt, and it was shallower than usual, making it difficult to open the blade.

I ordered a second rather than return for an exchange under warranty. Since stock was low, and I didn't know if there would be another run, I figured with my lack of luck or bad luck, (take your pick) they would be sold out before my knife reached them. 🤨

The second is great. One of my favorite user carbon steel canoes. 😁👍

The first went back in the box and into the cabinet.
If the need ever arises, I can "fix" the bad pull with my (faux) Dremmel ... at the cost of the "match strike" bit ... 🙄

74 today and almost 70°. That wouldn't make sense to most folks
So ... You're saying it is almost warm out? 😁
Wish it was here ... and that they'd raise the ° inside to the 70's from 68°. When the stffette uses the stove or oven the AC kicks on, even tho it is in the low 30's or much colder outside. ☹️🤬
I'm tired of wearing a sweatshirt/ hoody and/or coat inside.🤨
