My clip point 15 is riding in my pocket today, and my Aitor is in my truck for lunch duty.

Freshly picked Herbs, veggies and a freshly caught Kelp Greenling with a Hubertus knife to do all the work.
Can it get any better?

Thanks, I picked it up cheap from a guy locally and it regularly displaces "nicer" knives from my pocket.

"Cheap" or not, that looks plenty nice from where I am sitting.

I opened my knife drawer this morning and (no surprise here) the 2011 Forum Knife would not be ignored.

I've got this one with me today as I've been working on a cord wrap handle for a new fixed blade.

It was actually my first pocket knife. My father gave it to me about 30 years ago when I started getting interested in knot work.

Today I have a Jackson Fremonto with wood scales. I got it and some others, 6 or 7 from my sister-in-law. Her Dad used to teach school, years ago.

He used to take knives away from boy's that had their knives out. I had my choice from a box that had at least 50-60 pocket knives in it.

Most of them were users in poor condition. I took the ones in the best condition IMO.

Does anyone know anything about Jackson knives ? What years were they made. This 1 is a good quality knife. I sharpened it on my Sharpmaker.

It's by far the sharpest knife I have. I don't know anything pounds of pull, this 1 is quite stiff with a half stop.
