Due for about an inch and a half of rain today and some of the locals are looking for ark builders.
It's a good day to carry one of my favorites. A Case Humpback stockman with ebony covers and what I would term to be a "zulu" spear blade in Tru-Sharp.

Happy afternoon carry.

10L of fuel into the tank as I ran the carbs/tank dry for the winter so the carbs dont get gummed up.

Fitted the battery kept in the warmth of my front room so it didnt really need charging and longer life.

I developed an idea of using bits of rubber fuel line to hold the nut up as its tricky to fit in a very tight area and you cant use longer bolts.

My old Snap on screwdriver is favourite for nearly 40 years, love it.

Why so happy,it started first time with ease all the winter prep worked.

The new rear tyre was flat, probably a valve, the Makita battery tyre inflator I bought last year is superb,it reinflated in no time and saved my knees using a foot pump.

Carried my 1977 Punky year SAK and what I call my workshop SAK with scissors and metal file.

Even found some more mine signs from the batch I took into Mostar in the 90s war.

It was colder by then in the shade, but I was chuffed to NAAFI break (old British army saying). 😆

I taxed it online tonight from April first, its a great feeling knowing I can ride it if I feel up to it.😍

I always enjoy the appearance of that crusty old rubber ducky ........... nice knives too !😍🤣🤣
Well thanks kindly, Mr R😉
Crusty the Rubber Ducky is no match for @CelloDan’s chickadees, but I tried.😌
Nice pairing!
Thanks, buddy!
Honey, does this thing make my Texas Camp Knife look big?
Did you figure out your problem with imgur? Or is this from postimage?
I spent an enjoyable 15 minutes refining the edges on this Craftsman and then into the pocket it went. Offensively sharp, now.

Offensively sharp. That works, I like it.

It’s been a while since I’ve actually posted in here. Unfortunately, as much as I like the threads and conversations, I just don’t have the spare time at this point in my life.

I will however drop by and say “hello” every once in a while. I have met some great people here on the porch.

Today I added even more patina as the BF23 was on apple duty.

Happy Easter Weekend to you all! Carry on!

That's a great looking knife! I'd really like to see these being produced again soon!
