What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I thought I would finally get the Otter 07 with carbon steel blade. The box said carbon, the blade "rostfrei". The mistake had been made at the factory. Oh well...

I settled to keep this knife and got a small compensation from Lamnia. The lock is without any play, fit and finish is fine and the wood handle looks nice. I did some light sharpening and stropping, the blade is now quite sharp, so all is well. Anyway I do quite a lot of food prep with my knives, so the stainless should work well. No biggie. It's like hippekniep (sodbuster) and Buck 110 had a relationship and this is the result :)

Nice looking design.👍🏻

Been a loooong while since I have posted a daily knife in this thread, been dealing with some mental health issues, but am on the upswing now!

My trusty SAK that seems to always find it's way to my pocket. There is also a little caper blade blank I am trying to make some antler scales for. Man does that stuff smell even through a respirator.

That is a nice blank to work with.
Glad you are starting to see the " sunshine" again.😎

I like the blade combination on your Case Jer. 👍🏻
Hope the transition to the new job is going smoothly.
Thanks!
I got it used, so my predecessor is probably responsible for the current blade shapes.

I've decided to go knife-naked again today until I confirm that it's ok to have a knife other than the uniform issue box-cutter, as long as no customers see you use it.

It is smaller than I thought it would be, but I really like the shape of it. I plan on making it part of a pocket spork and knife set for picnics and such. It is in cpm 154 which I have never used before.

Thank you! It is amazing what asking for help can really do for you.
