I'm glad you're doing better. It's never a bad thing to ask for help when you need it, although it may be the hardest thing to do. I know from experience, I've been dealing with my own issues as well & just now have been seeking help after years of being stubborn by not admitting I needed it. Your not alone friend. Glad to have you back! Keep us updated on that caper 😉👍

I'd love to try "crosshatching" the handle on one of my Opinels that way. (And if I got it to work OK, I'd try some variations on the theme for my others. 😁)

Gentlemen thanks. Unfortunately Gary, a woman in the Czeck Republic did the work. It is patterned after her dog. She does have other animals in her repertoire.
It may inspire me to try it myself.

Thank you friend! You are absolutely right it can be difficult reaching out, but it definitely is worth it. I am fairly stubborn myself, so I know what you mean. I hope your own search for helps goes splendidly! If you ever need anyone to talk to, feel free to message me.

Will do on the caper. I think it is going to get a thin brass liner with the antler to give it a little more girth and to make it pop.

I like the twist the cutler put on the tang.
But how do you carry it without poking holes in your hand or pocket? Belt pouch?
