What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Mine has a solid lock-up with no blade play in any direction (thick blade stock, well done flat grind, centered, sharp), impressively smooth operation (easily pinchable), better finished and lighter than expected. It's what a Queen Mountain Man lockback ought to be, minus the D2 (Boker's 440C steel here). Definitely a best buy in the backpocket category.

Thanks deskil, just what I wanted to hear:) (not sure my wallet agrees!)

probably my favorite pocket knife for paring duty. right there with the opinel #6, though this has the more usable tip.

Beautiful knife Jeff, one I love to look at every time you post it!

Yes, Doug, but it's now a vampire. Yesterday it bit my index finger when closing, a nice, bloody 3/8" gash.
I had my right index finger just barely in the glide path when closing the Wharncliffe, and with it's good snap . . . :o

At least I know it is sharp!

Just picked this one up in a trade (thanks Tony), gave it the spa treatment..... and will be in my pocket for a couple days. #73 single in bocote.... but you guys knew that.

Very nice Sam.

+1  I like the look of that 73 too

Have a good weekend folks. I'm off to my grandaughter's 'naming ceremony' in Sheffield tomorrow, something I've been dreading for months. I'll be carrying the MOP handled Wostenholm Pen I bought when she was born.

Just like it's smaller sibling, the peanut, has done to me one more than one occasion!

Yesterday, I carried, let's see, "all of them."

I took pictures of just a few, including this one (on borrow from rockgolfer for just a little while longer):

The 12OT pictured on top. The 18OT, which sitflyer kindly sent me, was passed on to another member who likes Schrade Old Timer knives.
