After work today I went back to the little Case-Bose Eureka. This knife kind of tugs at your soul if you don't carry it for a while.
You're right, I know the feeling... 🤣 I've come to love the Eureka Jack pattern. My ebony version is definitely a favorite, nice color & jigging on yours btwšŸ‘

We axiously await. Be sure to take before and after pics of the steel, please. You get the most beautiful patinas on the Porch. It looks exactly like my Grandpa’s old guns down in my safe.
I wonder what the Sterling means. A promo run for a company?

Thank you Jeff ! 😊
Sterling means sterling silver bullet shield, according to the paper work with the knife.
I'll try to show before and after of the Granddaddy Primble. 😊

Beautiful knives with outstanding stag ! :thumbsup:šŸ˜šŸ˜

Apologies to Primble Primble for stealing his thunder...

I ain't got no thunder to steal my friend ........... I just turned seventy ! :oops:šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸŒ©ļøā˜”
I actually appreciate you looking up that paper work for me.😊
You all can probably expect blurry knife pics from me ........ about any day now ! 🤣
I like that Ranch hand Bullet knife you showed quite a bit too !

I am happy to say that there are not many knives these days that make me irrationally want to own them…that Dunlap is one of them though šŸ˜‚
Such a sweet knife you have!!

Been carrying my Phoenix jack, and really enjoying it a lot. I’m getting used to the nail nick, or my nails have just hardened and aren’t cracking anymore šŸ˜‚

Sorry for the delay. Been all over today, lots of errands, cooking dinner, boys wanted my ā€œhelpā€ making pine wood derby cars… etc…

Anyways, it was made by Canal Street at their very end of days.
Just a suggestion. The key to a fast car is the wheels. Many years ago my son won five derby’s in a row with peeked wheels. The wheels had a narrow peek in the middle of each wheel. Less friction equals more speed. You’ll need to check the rules of your Pack and see if they are okay. If they don’t prohibit them get them. I’m sure they are available on line. Good luck to your sons! Oh yeah the pack changed the rules after he won four but he still got a fifth one with some tweaks anyway. One more thing is to not let them play with their car until after the race.

I’ll have to look into that, rolling friction does seem like it’s the biggest place for an advantage.
