What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Jeff/Black Mamba-- you're a brave man! Your blade turned out really well. Remind me not to stand in your way when your patience wears thin. ;)

I hope you are taking lots of pics for us, ~P!!

I am a total picture fail person.

I had a fantastic day, but was so often in the moment I didn't step outside to take pictures of others who helped make those moments happen. I'll try to do better tomorrow.

I've been carrying this Charlow since receiving it in the post, from the man himself, this afternoon :) :) :)

Yowzah, how wonderful. :)

Here's my new Case Peanut :)

There you go! How do you like it? Cut up and eat some apples, and get back to us. :-)

Love the looks of that larger Boker Congress:thumbup:

Thanks, it has become a favorite, 4 different blades, two springs, lots of utility, I always liked stockman for work, but this congress has changed my opinion, love using when I have a lot of task, never run out of sharp blades.

Great although somewhat unknown Swedish beauty!
I found a mess of these about 10 years ago in a closeout bin with a bunch of cheap truckstop knives at a local hardware store. I knew they were well worth the money asked but didn't know much about them so I took a chance and bought a mess of them. I've gifted several and used others as deal sweeteners when swapping and trading. Only recently have they become more well known in the knifeknut community. These are the ones I have left.

...

that is indeed an embarrassment of riches!
not seen very many eka knives around. a couple of the brits have posted a few here and there maybe.
some might not care for the bright plastic handles but i like them. i work in the environmental industry and knives like these are easy to find if you drop them in leaves or high grass. i almost went for the blue but i think orange was the way to go for me.
havent had this one long but its really easy to sharpen and has a good amount of handle for working without being aggravating in my pockets. i love an unusual, reasonably priced working knife and am happy with this one so far.

Had this Shapleigh Hdw Co. Diamond Edge Tear Drop jack with me all day today! Heckuva old knife...

I know G10 isn't really a traditional handle material, but boy I love this stockman.

Kris....Yes i did...That is the first flower of my miniatures...It took a few years for it to do that as they are quite difficult wee things..I like them............FES

Wow, Very good, by no means an easy plant to grow, but a truly spectacular and diverse species. One of my passions is carnivorous plants. I've got Venus fly traps, sundew's, can't post any pic's at the moment due to them being dormant for the southern hemisphere winter. My Nepenthes failed when we moved south, to cold for such tropical plants. Did you get my visitor message replies?

Another great Boker Pete! I do love their Congress patterns, though now I think I have to look for a half-Congress! :D

Thanks Griff, the 1/2 congress, is really thin, about 1/16 strong thinner than my peanut, really disappears in the pocket, I still have a preference for the 4 blade congress, but if you need a knife that goes unnoticed in the pocket the Boker 6384 1/2 congress at 3" and as thin as it is the way to go, the snap is fantastic on this one and I sharpened it up, the pen still had a factory burr, now both blades are hair shaving sharp.
