If you mean the attachment for the key ring, I have often thought about taking a Dremel to it to remove it.

Somber day today... Just laid my paternal grandmother to rest. She passed exactly a month to the day from my maternal grandmother. Thirteen has been our family number over the years, not unlucky just always shows up. My maternal grandma was married on the 13th, my grandfathers race car from his younger days was #13, my paternal grandmother was born on the 13th & then both of my grandmother's passed away on the 13th... Anyway, sorry to ramble...

Ebony & Pearls seem appropriate.

Its not hard to remove and is much more comfortable when using the knife.


Yes it was a very poor pun on the French Kepi Blanc.

It seems far more practical in the hot Sun than the black wool beret we had that gave no shade to the eyes.

Also the name of the Legionnaires magazine.






To bring it back on topic when I was delivering supplies to 2 REP out in Bosnia they took me to lunch in the mess several times.

It was very good food, but no one seemed to use a normal table knife they all had massive personal knives they took out and used a bit like Rambo. 😁
