What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I confess this is on the border if this is traditional or not. Modern traditional? This came with thumb studs but not clip, with a nylon belt sheath. The spring in the lock is stiff, so it was almost impossible to open it one-handed, so I took off the studs. There might be also something about the geometry of the tang, because this closes quite hard. The long groove gives a very good support for opening two handed. I like the styling and ergonomics, this is very comfy in the hand and the grenadille wood handle looks nice, so this will be a modern traditional, large (4 inch blade) lockback. The lock is very solid, no play, actually one of the best I have handled so far. This came with a arm hair shaving edge and the steel is Böhler N695. I might fill the small hole in the blade with a small screw, peen the ends and grind it down. I'm also making a leather belt/pocket sheath for this.

New bee day!!!
Have y'all ever seen a box of bees?... Or how about two?...

That's two packages = two queen bees & approximately 20,000 workers (one queen & 10,000 workers per) 😉

The queen is separated & marked with a year dot. Much like decoding our tang stamps 🤣
