What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Jeremy, your blue K'roo is a real beauty! Way to go, Bob!

I've been carrying my Richie to work and he does everything I need just splendidly!

Thanks Jeff....oh, I do like those barlows. Some of the finer creations by GEC.👌

Thanks Jeff. The richlite 15s turned out very nice.

A fine micarta duo David.👌
Thank you kindly my friend!
Thankee Zach! I've been into fixed blades awhile now, long enough to really know what I'll use/carry. Horsewright comes highly recommended in that dep't. Also Wayne Walker of WW customs (good luck getting onto his books though)

Thank you David! I was digging on your skinny/fat polished/jigged combo today ;)

For the first time ever today, I'm slim doggin' it for Micarta and Metal Monday. This is my first Muskrat blade and I blame pat9198 pat9198 because when I saw it next to his REK I hung my head in defeat and ordered one.
Thanks buddy!

Posting today from the shore of Little Lake Butte Des Mortes (I don't know French, but I'm guessing that translates to something like Hill of the Dead) in Menasha, WI. We'll be here for several days in some Vrbo rental my wife found so she can check out some local quilt shops. I'll be walking some trails along the lake and Fox River, and exploring downtown Menasha and adjacent Neenah, WI, home of the Neenah Foundry, famed (to me) for their manhole covers. The rental in which we're staying is a little old house with a weird floorplan and inexpensive structural elements (walls, floors, ceilings, woodwork, cabinets, windows, furniture), but it's very clean with good appliances, nice towels, excellent selection of "kitchen stuff" (silverware, dishes, pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc.) and fantastic location on the water.

As usual, I have a pair of Canoes of the Week (perfect for our surroundings).

Very nice. I’ve never really been into canoes but lately they are starting to grow on me.👍

Looks great F.C.! I hope your aversion to clip blades doesn't stop you from enjoying this one. It's a great pattern and I know you like ESPL. Glad I could help. 😁

It has rained on and off here in the Bluegrass State, today. Hiring for the new restaurant and making final prep on it. Overwhelmed is an understatement….Ive got my Colonial Barlow and the Schrade Walden with me. They’ve been able to handle the load today. Stay sharp!
Great carries and I hope the opening is a smooth one and is well received.👌

Rise and shine....
I see burlap Micarta…the best Micarta…and I’m very entertained! Such a cool knife!!!
Sorry to hear that. I’m grateful that the folks that run our sound each week are pretty good.

That’s a good one, Chris!

Off to a decent start to the week, this one is with me today thanks to Rufus1949 Rufus1949 . Thanks again Bob.

Siiiiiick. That’s one classy rig right there.

Help me out here, Jer. The only thing I can see the pinky hook doing is keeping you from losing your grip, and turning the machete into a flying messenger of death for bystanders, not the user…
The unclad pinkie hook was cutting my pinkie. I cut it back to the wood and smoothed it out.
I wonder if I will have any "extra" red stuff when I visit them ... 🤔
Ask rather whether you'll have any red stuff left when you leave! 😁

Micarta Monday favorites side by side. Westinghouse ivory paper, burlap, and some other old ass stuff that looks like wood on my most recent acquisition. All are nice and will still look great in many years.

Yesterday's meal on the stickburner using post oak, Jameson's black garlic salt / Minter's Prime Steak seasoning / fresh ground black pepper. Green beans al dente, fresh corn is really sweet this time of year. Have a golden day!
