What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks guys. It's a real problem, but totally fixable. I've dislocated my prosthetic left hip three times now, twice in the last week. It's going to be redone on Friday with technology that is more resistant to dislocation. Six weeks for full recovery which is a gradual process. Mobility will be back to more or less normal a week after surgery. But I will still be on light duty. PT won't start during recovery but afterwards. So in the end, I'll be fine again. And a commercial for modern medicine. Miraculous.
Wow, I hate to hear you have to go through all of that! I hope everything goes well & you have a quick recovery.

This is England at its best, sunny but not to hot with vibrant green grass everywhere along with flowers etc.

Plus 6,000 year old stones, blows my mind.

It would be a big/difficult job nowadays to move them with a crane and a fleet of trucks.

But back then no roads, no nothing how on earth did they get them into place?

There’s absolutely masses of them in many fields.

Avebury.

Thanks Patrick. I've been honestly working on my prejudice, and you've helped. I've narrowed it down specifically to an aversion to a curve on the clipped portion of the spine. This knife avoids that and sports a ton of blade length for it's low pocket weight. The secondary's great as well, that's a favorite shield of mine, and as you mention paper micarta is my jam. Already sharpened with a patina going, great minds knife alike ;)

Hey at least the knife and photographer are excellent. We're glad you're here and not still living in the back of a van in the woods Jon, even if you're not. 🤣

Perhaps the most practical pair I could put together for Tidi Tuesday. Make a great one folks!

I’m definitely that guy who could be “livin in a van down by the river” if it weren’t for some folks watching my back over the years 😂.

Great pair today!

Today I was "toting" around my new Randall Made Knives. A 5-4 Small Camp & Trail and a 16 Diver. The 5-4 is the perfect size for EDC around the house or anywhere really. The 16 is definitely overkill since there aren't any marlins flopping around my house that needed to be dispatched. It will definitely join me on my next fishing trip. I love the sheaths that come with these. Very high quality.

Thumbs up for the sharpness of the top swedge on the diver. I wasn't expecting that.
