What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Met up with Jack Black this afternoon. Had a reet good chin wag.

I received some Wooden Wednesday winnings from a competition that Jack ran.

Thanks to Uncle Andi I had just the thing to test it out on :)

Cheers to you both chaps

EDIT: Looks like you and I posted at the same time! Jack, you had some absolutely beautiful old knives in your swag today. Some fine old Sheffield knives. I was pleased I could handle them and add one to it.

Great pic Thom, nice to see your Martinni in use. It was cracking to see you today, and thanks again for the presents (photos to follow!) :)

Congratz, Thom - that´s what counts in Bavaria a real "Brotzeit", the beer is missing though... ;) But that Schwarzgeräuchertes is great with sweet mustard, isn´t it?

^^ Trying to cut down on the ale, so the ham is enjoyed by itself, so to speak.

I'm using the Canadian maple syrup and whole grain mustard I brought back from my holidays. It seems to be the perfect condiment.

Have to say, I'm really loving this ham :)

Danke schön Andi.

Duncan, I've still got your Lloyd toothpick in my pocket. It's been with me darn near every single day since it moved in with me.
Also carrying this sweet Case Classic dogleg wharncliffe whittler, thanks to Elliott (Blues).

Carrying a pocket knife that holds such an association, reminding me of someone or some place, is part of the joy of this hobby (IMO). :)

I guess they weren't interested in what I had to offer! :)

We've all been watter-licked, as they say in Yorkshire, from time to time Gary :)

Well, most of us have (looks enviously at yet more gorgeous pics of bountiful NZ)! ;)

I can't see the Ivory Bone Boy's knife (Clip single) leaving this pocket for many a day yet....

Might be nice if they jigged that bone too!
