Thanks... It takes me a while to get over the bitter taste left in my mouth by the annual forum knife fiasco.
I avoided it all-together this year and waited until they were all haggled over and delivered. Then I came back.
So is there not gonna be a forum knife this year?

Happy Friday happy hour! I have an Imperial Kamp King scout knife doing the chores. It’s the same knife I had in Boy Scouts back in the 60s’ as I couldn’t afford a “real” Camillus scout knife until later. Sadly it was stolen along with a previous collection but I was able to pick one up on the exchange. Also today a little something in Ebony for Black Friday. Have a great weekend all. IMG_2655.jpeg

Thanks for the vintage bone vs. bone stag comments. :)
I've been calling my 1975 Case canoe "red bone" but I'm probably incorrect since I see little evidence of what I'd normally think of as a red shade in the bone. Here's another photo of it:

Out of curiosity, here's a 1965-69 Case canoe I have. I think I see red here; what does your experienced eye tell you, Rob (if anything, given my amateur photos)?

Both of those are definitely red bone Canoes. The brown ones had no red at all, even if rubbed or pocket worn.
I think they mailed all of those mud brown ones to Kentucky, long ago. 🤣
Two fine ones you showed !:thumbsup:😍

Quite a handsome knife! 👍🤠

Thank you buddy ! 😊
