What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

clip/pen serpentine jack with fake stag covers. I suspect it's a Colonial, but I can't prove it.
I BELIEVE "USA" Tang stamp Shell Construction gives you three options:
Colonial.
Imperial.
and (post 1933-ish) Hammer Brand.
(Imperial - Schrade bought NYKC/Hammer Brand name, intilectuals, and parts at the bankruptcy auction around 1933. I don't know if they also bought any of the machinery.)

With just/only a "USA" tang stamp, I SUSPECT it was originally a "Gas Station Special" or a "Point of Sale" at a 5 & Dime's cash register.

Not all those knives were "useless low/no quality knife shaped objects". 😁👍
 
Thank you, Bob. This one has better bone, but a little wear on the blades. My other one has no wear on the blades, but the bone is faded. On the average, they’re perfect. 🤪

I have some like that. Kinda makes me think that the ones with the pretty bone got carried and used more regularly. 😊
