That NYKC is A-OK! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Just had a phone call from our son (Cindy is still on the phone with him) - seems his daughter, our grand daughter had a baby girl last night. That makes me a great grand father :):thumbsup::thumbsup:. I guess getting old has some advantages after-all. I'll be carrying this Copperhead today. Sausage and ???? for breakfast.

Congrats to you and everyone along that branch of your family tree, ED!🤓

The budget has tightened up but the urge to buy more knives hasn’t slowed down. So, I went ahead n purchased my first batch of Rough Ryders. Included was this beautiful scout in carbon steel. Victorinox was on tomato prunin duty.
Couple of very capable inexpensive knives!:cool::thumbsup:
I have a relatively low knife budget, so I have lots of inexpensive knives, and I'm not at all convinced that "you get what you pay for" in terms of performance. ;)

It feels like I’ve been running non stop for the last month and haven’t been around here much at all. I finally got a little time to relax and enjoy the forum.

My daughter is showing her 4H rabbit, so we spent all day at the county fair yesterday and just got back from feeding and cleaning this morning. The bunny knife seemed appropriate (or maybe inappropriate?)

Welcome back, Bart. I hope your daughter has enjoyed the 4H rabbit experience!🤓

A very special knife arrived today , This one completes the full set of the BF knives , it’s been a hell of a journey finding them all , especially the earlier ones , which were produced in very low numbers 🙏
This #86 in smooth oiled bone is a beauty . Big thank you to all the people who have helped me along the way to get these amazing knives 👌View attachment 2579181
Congrats on completing that impressive challenge!:thumbsup::cool:

I'm counting at least 12 different knives there, Jeff!:thumbsup::cool:
Most normal people would raise their eyebrows over "just" 12 knives over the past month or two. 😲
Admittedly, most of us on The Porch are not very normal regarding knives, though. 🤓

...
Thanks, Gary. I was looking for something in that waterfall celluloid for awhile and found that one a few months back, I like the looks of it too. 👍
Glad you were able to find what your were after, Greg!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
I'm still not sure I'm able to identify waterfall celluloid when I see it. I think I've claimed that this L.F. & C. has waterfall cell covers; what do you think?

This one arrived in my mailbox today. Touched up the edge and slid it into my pocket.

Congrats on picking up that jigged bone WCLF!:cool::thumbsup:
Photos of that knife still make my pulse race!🤓

Bunny in the city.

...
Don't know why, but your "Bunny in the city" comment made me think of this song as soon as I read it. Still a pretty good song if you just substitute "bunny" for "summer" throughout the lyrics. 🤓

Dogleg jack today. Mouth is feeling sore, but I'm not in excruciating pain anymore so I'll take it. Looking forward to my day off, and hopefully feeling comfortable eating normal food again soon.

Hope your mouth is feeling better and you can enjoy eating again!:thumbsup:

I haven’t had a chance to take any decent photos since I got it late last week; this is my newest and most special knife. I’ll make a thread for it later but basically, the covers are made from the antler of the first deer my dog Ellie hunted for me. She passed away late last year so it’s a nice momento to remember her by that I can carry with me.
