I hate to hear you lost your K9 companion. It's never easy when that time comes. That's an amazing knife & a great way to honor your old hound! I'd say you did good by herI haven’t had a chance to take any decent photos since I got it late last week; this is my newest and most special knife. I’ll make a thread for it later but basically, the covers are made from the antler of the first deer my dog Ellie hunted for me. She passed away late last year so it’s a nice momento to remember her by that I can carry with me.

I'm so sorry about your friend/family/dog. That really is a great way to honor and remember her and carry her with you. The knife is absolutely beautiful too.I haven’t had a chance to take any decent photos since I got it late last week; this is my newest and most special knife. Thank you! In general I tend to agree with you on thatCouple of very capable inexpensive knives!
I have a relatively low knife budget, so I have lots of inexpensive knives, and I'm not at all convinced that "you get what you pay for" in terms of performance.![]()
You guys inspired me with yesterday’s Imperial Barlow posts. I decided to leave the tomato #48 at home today and take this Imperial Mark Twain Barlow to the lake with me.
