What is this wonderful Winterbottom lovely?!?!?
I didn't realise such a GEC existed!

This is GEC's "River Blue," more delectable bone from 2008. I had no idea it existed before this week, nor any idea how or why it floated up just now. (Don't know, don't care, zoop went my little boat out to meet it.)

Should it prove to be my last #25 (tra la la, tra la la), it would certainly be a fitting Omega.

Wow P, that River Blue is beautiful, congrats! I thought I was done with the 25's too, then I saw my dream Ebony 2 blade clip 25 (like yours grrr... bad influence : ) and I snapped it up! I've been so taken with Charlows lately, I had forgotten what a joy these lil 25's are : )

I can only echo what everyone else has already said, Sarah - that #25 is something special. One of the most unique GEC's I've ever laid eyes on.

Thanks Sonnemann...;) ugh...

P - That #25 really is a pocket jewel.

Would love to see more of that bone.

Still with the Boy's knife. An beautifully understated classic in my book.

Last friday the friendly postman rings two times... and has 2 of these wonderful little packages in his hand, both from the USA :)

HALLELLUJA! 5 looong weeks of waiting are over and my new babies have arrived finally.

Don't know, what i like more, the brand-new GEC #62 EasyOpen 2 blade Congress or the old "Lady Schrade-Walden" #825, both with stainless blades, as i like it!

While the Congress went in my left front pocket in seconds, the #825 first became a bath in warm water, after the long journey, some minutes of cleaning the old dirt of decades, and some drops of "Kamelien" Oil. Now she rides in my right front pocket, lucky, to be here in good old Germany :D

Do you USA boys know, how lucky you can be, to have such wonderful new and old knives in your country! ABSOLUTE FANTASTIC !

Having a hellish day here, trying to upload around 200 pics from my Kelham Island Industrial Museum visit via a dongle (which is probably going to take another week), while half-a-dozen clog dancers lay a new floor in the apartment above me. Glad to have my trusty Charlow and Castor Pequena to hand!
