What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

My post today is a shout out to Rick Heynowwww Heynowwww ! A while ago I noticed Rick started posting his beautiful Albers and Charlie lambs on the Guardians thread. I asked him if he had any A. Wright lambs and he said no. I told him that I’d gift him one of mine. Long story short Rick asked me if I was going to the Rendezvous so he could return the favor. I told him my mobility issues prevented me from going. Well, yesterday I received a package from Rick that made my day! I want to thank Rick for his thoughtfulness and kindness! I’ll let the picture tell the rest of the story! 😀

Great story behind the thoughtful giving Dan. I hope both of you will enjoy the knives.
I hope you are finding some comfort and are healing well Dan🙏

Drove down to the C&O trail and rode my bike down to the Harper's Ferry bridge and locked the bike up. Then I walked across the bridge into Harper's Ferry for the first time. Cool little town, hopefully I'll spend some more time exploring someday when my girlfriend can come along. Harness jack again, saddle but no horse.

Thanks for sharing these photos.
My daughter had her 8th grade graduation today, so I carried something a little fancy for the occasion.

Congratulations to your daughter on her accomplishment.

I "think" I "need" to add a Stockman or Barlow to RFP.
"Stain Less" blade sense that is what the two multitools have.

I guess I'll use the (offshore) 280OT Barlow. I havent carried it yet this year.

Changed into OD Green "Carpenter's Pants" today, so swapped the Companion out for the Evo Grip S18.

(Edited to add Barlow picture.)

Congrats Dan, that's a beauty !

Looking good, GT!!! 👍🏻 Nice carries, my friend! 👊🏻
Thanks, Chris. :)
Exactly the same can be said of your praiseworthy Case sawcut Barlow!:thumbsup::cool:
I have one just like that, and I think it's the only Case knife I've ever bought "in person". (Unfortunately, I didn't get to pick exactly the knife I wanted because that was the only sawcut Barlow left in stock when I was there.🤓)

Looks like a Spearpoint kinda day🤙
I try to make sure every day is a spearpoint kind of day, Jeff, probably because my first knife (a Colonial Forest-Master scout) had a spear blade. I still have strong preferences for knives that share features with that first knife (shackle, black & silver, equal end, round bolsters, tools in addition to blades); must be some kind of "you never forget your first love" thing. 🤓

A nicely done copperhead Gary.👍🏻
Great looking Stag on that Colt !
Thanks, Bob & Steve. :) I wish I'd bought MANY more Colt stag models back when they had them for $20 each. I have the copperhead, a canoe, and a muskrat that are all excellent. (Blades are 440A, but an amateur like me has no problem with that stainless.)

Good morning all, hope you are going to have a good day.
Points well-taken, Bob, and an impressive Tuesday warm-up for Wooden Wednesday! 🤓:thumbsup:

This song is annoying, but the title describes how I feel about that stunning knife, Rob!🤓

Good Morning Porch Dwellers
A knife fit for a King! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

That peanut has a beautiful coat Gary.🤩
Thanks, Bob. :) The chestnut jigged bone CV series is probably my favorite Case offering.
