What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Believe I'll pocket a couple with class for the "weekend".
1922 -> 1939 Robeson 622110, and an (late) 4 line 1930's to 1945 Camillus 33EO.
I love the asymetrical jigging on these.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Patiently waiting for a phone call from the nursing home to discuss my dad‘s care and other topics. Once that’s done it’s time to catch up on some yardwork. I figured the climber would handle anything I’m going to run into today.

Off to town in a an hour or so for lunch at the Lazy B. I'll be carrying the knife I spoke of - errrrrrrrrrrrrr typed of yesterday - a 2002 single blade Sowbelly with Peach Seed Jigged Antique Bone covers. As I typed yesterday I had one already but jumped on the new one as a primary carry knife.

The one I received yesterday and am carrying today on top

Both of those knives were made in 2002. Just goes to show that bone coloring differs from side to side on a knife as well as knife to knife.

Here are a few quotes from I don't know how long ago. Either I forgot I'd saved them, or I thought the weather was too hot for me to deal with them.
Not to me .... I love that song !
You had me out on a tangent ......... listening to old Captain & Tennille songs !😍
Sorry to send you off on a musical tangent, Rob. ;)
I know from personal experience how easy it is to lose big chunks of time from life by watching/listening to YouTube music videos! o_O:eek:

Thanks guys :)
I wasn't doing anything extra strenuous-working on my motorcycle - but I could almost ring water out of my clothes when I called it quits yesterday afternoon.
Himalayan pink sea salt...🤔
Another internet rabbit hole no doubt 😀
Definitely been a hot week, Mike. I definitely won't hit my weekly walking goal of 50 miles this week! 🥵

Thanks Gary. Today was the first day of summer break and nothing has changed yet. I’m sure she’ll think I’m embarrassing before too long. I’ll keep you updated 😁
Yeah, I doubt if the change is a "quantum leap" that comes with an 8th grade diploma. 🤓

Twooo canoooes!!! Whooo kneeew??? 🤣🤓😁

P.S. I'm tempted to send you a straight edge to see what happens. 😵‍💫
And my stag/horn knife this week was a stag Mohawk canoe from AG Russell, so I was dragging THREE canoes around all week. 🤓
Chris, what are some possible things you think I might do with a straight edge?? Remember this is a family-friendly forum. ;)
(Are we talking about a straight edge blade, like sheepsfoot or wharncliffe, or a straight edge "drafting tool"?)

Is the lower with lined bolsters equipped with stainless blades?

Both look gr8.

Love the patina you got going on the CV model.
Your canoist can still see where he going ... unlike the poor guy on mine ... see to the nearest thwort, he can't ... forget seeing the bow ...
Amazing he ain't gone aground on a sandbar ... through a fallen tree ... run over a swimming moose or adult Kodiac Bear ... or collided with some guy inna sit inside (or sit on top) kayak.
Yep, the lower one has stainless blades (and I think the covers are called "burnt amber jigged bone" instead of "amber jigged bone" like your and my CV Case canoes). Since I have so many canoes, and try to give each of them "equal time" for carrying, my CV Case hasn't really had much chance to get a heavy patina.

Probably the best blade etch ever. 🤠
It's really nice, especially if you imagine the person in the canoe in the blade etch is carrying a canoe knife with a person in a canoe in its blade etch carrying a canoe knife with a person in a canoe in its ...

Gary, the Mohawk is numero uno of canoes.😍
Thanks, Bob. :) It's certainly in my canoe Top Ten, but I'm not sure I'm willing to think hard enough to try to rank the Top Ten from #1 to #10! o_O😁

Union Jack sure is nice 😎
Thanks, David. :) I sometimes think the only way to rank my lambsfoot knives is to say my favorite is the one I'm carrying that week.
