Sweet etrick, Bob. The lamb is amazing too.
Thanks!! It’s a special place at the house my grandfather purchased in 1970 that’s become a tremendous legacy for our family. On the 4th of July, precisely at 10:00 pm, the entire shore is illuminated with highway flares spaced out along the shore. It’s really an awesome site … and the lake is not small … 1.5 miles wide and 20+ miles long!
I hope we’ll see some pictures of that.

Maybe not very beautifull, but the primitive looks are intentional. I wanted a flat, compact fixed blade with 80-85 mm blade, that would fit in the pocket. Blade is Varusteleka Jääkäri 85. I put epoxy to the tang to seal it and prevent rust under the cord. Cord is coated with wood glue and when dry, wiped with beeswax. More comfy in hand than I expected.

Wow that is a special place, very cool! I bet that’s a sight to behold.

I have rocks in and around my garden to attract snakes and salamanders to help with pest control. Maybe I should try to attract Hobbits?

I like it🤙
A small/medium fixed blade in a safe pocket sheath that can be pulled out, and re-sheathed one handed is pretty handy.

This Burlington engineer’s cap belonged to my step Granddad, who was a machinist with Proctor and Gamble. I think a new cap was a sign of a rookie, so they’d wear their caps unril they fell apart. I had to do some stitching to keep it together.
My wife does not like this hat 😟

Nice Schrade day to you Jeff.
I would wear that hat with pride.
I still wear an uncle's WW II pea coat.
