Well done and great color choice.👍🏻
Today is my 14th wedding anniversary. We took the week off, and normally we plan some week-long stay at the coast. But we were too worn out this year to figure out the logistics of all that, so we're 'staycationing' (or I've been calling it a 9-day weekend). It's been really fun so far! Yesterday we worked on building a workbench until it got too hot, then went to see Twisters (highly recommended to see on the big screen, much better than the original). Today will be more on the workbench before the heat, then we may go the winery where I proposed to her in the afternoon. It's been a great 14 years!

These two in the morning, will probably swap out the standard lamb for the HHB in the afternoon when I'm trying to be a little fancier.

Nice 🐑👍🤠 Congratulations on your 14th wedding anniversary. 👍

Whoa it's Wednesday, how'd that happen? 🤔. It's more fun to be on here in the mornings, so here are the last few days in knives and I'll get to WW when it happens 🤷‍♂️
Sadly my coarse stone on my sharpening rig is dead, so until I stop buying knives and get another none of my multiple amazing new additions are sharp yet. You'll be seeing a lot more of them after a 140 grit stone shows up.

Sunday. The Moran Eureka's edge has been touched up with a focus on looks, but as per usual with these fancy knives nobody's ever pulled a burr and performance is a small fraction of what Mike's *amazing* grind is capable of.

I don't know what happened to Monday. Been like that lately. I'm sure I had a knife.

Todd Davison Tuesday. Had some riding to do (bicycle, not organic or motorized horse) so the linerless shadow is always the obvious choice for slimness and weight. Missed the Cowboy so grabbed it. A very sharp day, both these blades easily shave hair.

Have a great WW Porch-ites!

Very nice collection FC. Mornings are good, some of us head off for a nap/ energy reboot soon.😁

Colonial/Imperial/Schrade Knife of the Week is an oriental Schrade 858OTB Lumberjack:

🥰 the 858OTB. I "think" I like mine more than my standard/regular offshore 858OT.
The 9CR18MoV blades take and hold such a keen edge ... at least as well as 440C, in my opinion. 🤔
(IMHO) At just 4.625" closed, it is not "too big" for loose in the pocket carry, either. 😇👍

Ever been to a wedding where the band starts out with The Anniveesary Dance? All the married couples get out on the dance floor, and as the guy calls out the years, they have to sit down until the only couple left are the ones married the longest?
At a wedding last year, my parents won with 67 damned good years married. Hey~ when you’re 90, you deserve a round of applause, right?
Dad passed this May sadly, so they were eliminated from the competition at my nephew’s wedding a couple of weeks ago. And although there were a lot of folks older than us, there was only one couple at that wedding married longer than my wife and me with our 42 years of bliss. Really strange that such a young couple would almost win the Longest Married Contest!

Happy A to you and your lovely best girl, my friend!
