I had this Imperial Stockman with me this morning. The heat ran me off the water about 10:15. I kept 10 nice crappie but gave them to a guy at the boat ramp that was trying to get a mess for his mother in law. It was already 87 degrees so I wasn’t looking forward to cleaning fish anyway.

I thought maybe just California was worried about pocket knives but sounds like it’s everywhere. I once went to a game and realized I had a GEC 14 in my pocket. Didn’t feel like walking back to the car so I put the knife in my wallet, put the wallet in the bowl that goes around the metal detector, and they handed me the bowl on the other side!

Good idea! Glad it worked. Yeah I once went to a concert and forgot I had my 62 in my little EDC pouch. I shoved it to the back of the zipper part of the pouch in hopes that they wouldn’t bother. The lady started to dig into it but then another security guy leaned over and said “don’t worry about going through it, it’s fine”

Heading home from vacation today with this Krein in my pocket.

Hit a couple of antique stores on my way back from VA yesterday and found a couple of thrifty items. Carrying the pocket watch and the Wenger. The Boker reeks of oil from all the rust removal so I gotta let it sit for a while.

Old Ingraham pocket watch (maybe 30s-40s?). Still works and keeps time. Also a discontinued Wenger Premier (same as the SAK Bantam). Apparently it’s SAK made but with the Wenger tang stamp.

A Boker USA Cigar Jack. Was quite rusty (thus very cheap). Was also able to tighten it a bit to get rid of the blade play. Sharp and ready for action. Forgot to take a before pic…

This garlic was a small pile of orphans that I missed that turned up while weeding the bed. Went to sit on the deck with my first cup of coffee, saw them laying there, and thought I’d trim them up for the fridge.

Today's carry is the 303 in the center, made in 1997. Flat ground blades, and the only Buck 300 series knief I remember seeing with polished blades.
