What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Just to be able to post in this thread again, I changed up all the knives. But the knipex stays. It's just such a handy tool, use it nearly every day. The Craftsman is a pretty decent knife actually. One of very few I have with a blade etch.

I like that Craftsman…the brass bolsters are good to go 👌🏼.
I love the knives…but I’m liking the future I see under them even better!

Wow! That one pushes me over the edge! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Very nice :thumbsup: Excellent shape for a knife that old.
Have you seen this?
Thanks for the informative link, Mike. :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:
I'm always getting Simmons Hardware and Shapleigh Hardware mixed up, but I guess that's not too surprising. :rolleyes:

Highly desirable stockman, and I'm not just whistling "Dixie"! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Looks like some chemical reactions have taken place between these two shots of your G8R 88! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Notable pair, David! :thumbsup::cool::cool:
I'm especially drawn to that Moose, probably because the last 4 digits on the tang stamp are my house number. 🤓

When it rains it pours 😫. My wife got back last Monday from visiting her brother back east and brought back Covid. She tested positive on Tuesday and then I tested positive on Wednesday. Symptoms are mild but it’s still a dart in the ass so I’ve been laying low for the past few days. First time I’ve had covid. In the meantime keeping me company today is my fancy lamb. Have a great day folks! 😀

Hang in there, Dan! Seems like all your major organs are "under attack" recently. On the other hand, staying COVID-free for over 4 years is quite an accomplishment! Your lamb is fantastic! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Notable pair of knives, Jeff; I'm impressed with how well the camper saw works! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:
I've seen that milk can before, but the pic with the open Camper on the edge makes me think the can is not as large as I'd assumed. What would you estimate for its capacity?

Woke up tired this morning. Seems the older I get the less restful sleep I get. Kinda like losing a step in my two step. Bunny knife today - maybe add a hop to my step. ???? for breakfast.

I know exactly what you mean, Ed. When I get up in the morning, it isn't because I'm all slept out & rested up. It's usually because one or more joints- knees, back, shoulder, etc- are hurting from laying in one position for too long, and I have to get up & move :)
John Prine had a song that I thought was just a funny novelty song, but I'm to an age now where the opening line isn't just a joke, but could happen any day:
Woke up this morning,
Put on my slippers,
Walked in the kitchen,
And died.

:rolleyes::eek:

A K’roo Toothpick carry for Tuesday. 3 3/4” with a 2 3/4” flat ground clip point. Covers are hippo tusk.

I like the toothpick pattern, but I don't care for the "tiny toothpicks".
Your "midsize" is superb! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Winning pair, Steve! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Primary (state offices) voting day in Missouri today. I had intended to take a pic in front of the polling place, but forgot my camera...I mean my phone. Then I forgot to get an "I Voted" sticker so that's out as a topical photo accessory also. I did remember to vote :)

Did you remember who you intended to vote for?? I have to take a cheat sheet to the polls these days to remind me which judges and board of education members I decided to vote for after my research. ;):rolleyes:

Camillus 4 line, Sword Brand EO Jack...

That's a knockout, Paul! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

A couple of my favorites together.

Enviable pair! The copperhead especially caught my eye! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

One of my favourites today.

Thanks Gary. It’s super flat where I live, too, so I really enjoy visiting the mountains.

Late replies as I got kicked out of the forum and couldn’t verify my email account. Maybe a result of the software update? It took a while but I’m back in action now 👍

I went to Denver for a couple of days a few years ago, and had a headache the entire time. I assumed it was because I wasn't used to the altitude.

Bob and Rob, I always enjoy seeing your Pocket-eze models! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I have a new addition with me today, although it's already peeled an apple for my pooch last night. I'm thankful I was able to find the one I wanted from this release! 😁

Congrats, Pat; that's a very handsome knife! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:
And the shield reminds me of an old song that has the line
I'll shut up my mug
If you fill up my jug
With that good ole mountain dew!

🤓

Great Case pen knife, Gary. Such a pocket friendly pattern. And I agree, much handier than the peanut.
Thanks, Bart. :)

Here are two poses of three knives.
May the covid, losses of dogs, and the seasonal tropical storms stay away from your doors. And failing that, not stay long.
Amen to that! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

I have no idea what I cut with that knife to get those colors, but it's so pretty I don't want to ruin it. 🤣

Thanks buddy! 😁

Good tune! 👍
My uncle Nort, he’s sawed off and short
He measures about four foot two
But he thinks he’s a giant when you give him a pint
Of that good ole mountain dew 🎶
