I have used flitz, steelwool & wd40 and lastly 1500 grit sandpaper. None are very agressive.
and the spin parts, the sandpaper is hard to touch. I never imaged the sheath with rain will cause this, maybe they will be the permanent marks

In the tank, seems its the FPCM...
nasty fuel pumps ... The in tank, on the frame, or the on the engine pump?
(some EFI have all three.)
In tank is the worst, since you have to pull the tank.
The on engine pump can be "fun" to get to sometimes, too.
A friend had a Factory V-8 Chevy Vega ("Monza") back in the late '70's.
To reach the fuel pump (AND to change the spark plugs) the engine had to be pulled.
High added expenses for repair and maintenence.
He traded it for a '66 Nova, with a supposed 327" Corvette engine equipped with dual quads.
(yes. he did put a rod through the side of the block.
Suprisingly, when starting from a stop sign, without a lead foot.)
I believe he switched to Ford and Mopar after that.![]()
Sure is, nice gift from a good friendWinchester 3904 is hard to beat for utility. A great looking knife with three useful blades AND cool history. Love it
I took a marked-up sample ballot with me for the first time. Not because I'm getting old*, but because there were so many running in this primaryDid you remember who you intended to vote for?? I have to take a cheat sheet to the polls these days to remind me which judges and board of education members I decided to vote for after my research.

That's unfortunate. I say clean it with some steel wool, oil & elbow grease. Keep the action oiled & keep working it. It may work itself back smooth or at least better. You can also blow it out with compressed air during the cleaning of the action to remove the gunk & rust bits that will come out. Those little duster cans for keyboards can work well if you don't have an air compressor handy.after brining the knife into rain with sheath, the leftovers look like this.
Any idea how to clean it? (not sure what the leftovers are and why they are there, but seems caused by the sheath)![]()
