Muddling through somehow. These are involved in the process:

You’ve got some great antique knives. Wondering if you have come across much history of EAGLE?
All I could find was info that it was a group of cutlers employed by NYKC, who formed a small company putting out knives salvaged from NYKC Factory Seconds and parts.
If true, it would explain the sanitized tangs overstamped with EAGLE PHILA.

True or not, there’s nothing resembling what I’d call a Factory Second about them

It’s good to be known as the guy who has the tool for the job in his pocket. Or his vest. Or clipped to his belt, hanging around his neck or stashed in his Rollator.
Thank you. I look at a bunch of old stuff and buy what catches my eye.

It just arrived yesterday. I have little to no knowledge on the brand other than a quick Google search and finding a thread on aapk.

The knife has no flaws other then the tang being restamped. It's as quality made as another knife made from that time. Its actually quite impressive these knives were rebranded and remained top quality. I guess if your taking the good stuff for parts things can come out welll.

Well if you can only pick one… that’s a good one to pick sir! Superb.

Sorry about the fingerprint on the blade and being 17 pages behind. Abalone shells picked up on the beaches of Vandenberg AFB 25 years ago. Holes all the way through this one make it unusable for many things but still works as a nice background. 5 inches of rain last night, more then we usually get the entire month. Ya'll stay safe in these turbulent times.

Stunning knife and shell John. Stay dry!

I’m carrying the #35 today and shooting some invasive Spotted lanternflies.

Nice cattle knife. That’s one way to take them out… though you’d better not miss! (Or wait till they land at least)
