What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

That's such an amazing pruner!

Nice Schrade, you don't see those too often 👍 (at least I haven't) 🤣

Cattaraugus Survivors for Saturday. The Cocobolo Electricians model 21087 knife was likely ( I imagine ) a clutter-drawer knife for many years and had mirror polished blades, no sign of ever being used much or at all. It is a tad smaller than your typical Electrician's knife at 3.5 inches closed. It was dirty and only required some steel wool cleaning and a thin coat of Permalyn Sealer on the wood. The enamel and silver lobster pen is another one that never saw much use. Have a fine weekend .......... my grandson's third birthday party to attend tomorrow. 😊

Definite survivors! I've never seen an electricians knife with a shield. Congrats on your grandsons big 3 coming up!

Now this one since I just cleaned it up

I enjoy seeing your new rescues getting cleaned up & put back to use 👍

I see some 22 brass, having some fun off the back porch are we? 😂
That trapper has some nice looking acrylic 😉

An underrated forum knife, in my opinion. I’m not even big on modern-traditionals, but I’ve always liked that one.

A fine overcast morn here.

Wow, that’s a unique one!

Cool looking pocket slip. 💀

Hey @Primble mi amigo
No chickadees today however these pigeons and goose seemed genuinely interested in my Case Copperlock unlike those pesky chickadee rascals that must be bribed with seeds for pictures :D

It is,I think its called crazy horse leather.

I offered it as a freebie on the porch, he didnt want it so I oiled the leather and am using it myself.

Its from etsy some good leatherwork on there. 😁

Sunday mornings are always pancakes in our house. Although it would be more accurate to call it a cream and maple syrup day with a bite or two of pancakes!

This was my first GEC and has become a breakfast/steak knife. She earns her keep.
It's fun to see the time differences. Y'all are already on Sunday morning, here the sun is just starting to lower on a Saturday where I'm at on the east coast of the U.S. 😉

Tasty looking breakfast, is that GEC going to get to snack on any breakfast proteins today to add to the patina? 😂

What’s the make of the fixed blade mate? I really like it.
Why thanks Jack, it's a Readmeadow Cowbell, a very handy little thing designed as a ranchhand's choreknife. I use it quite hard, seems to like it 😁 You can follow John here in the knifemaker's section, and get on his email list. If you can score a spot and he doesn't want to ship int'l, hit me up and and I'll send it down under for you ;)
