GEC 29 in the Missouri River bottom. On the way to pick up my accumulated mail and restart delivery 📪
Hey I think I recognize that stretch Mike, you along the Katy trail? Superior choice in knives, sir ;)
That Erickson knows how to make a knife with a practical handle 🍻
Doesn't he though? Never any slippage on an Erickson handle. This tiny little guy seem to get carried an outsize amount - less can be more!
I can’t seem to insert quotes, but ephsea ephsea that micarta SAK is sweet!!! Is there a source for those scales?

Any help in resolving the quote insertion issue would be appreciated.
Thank you, it did dress up a standard tinker. They are from a German company on Etsy, Taschenmesser. They took forever to arrive, look just as described, F&F and fit-up was excellent, mine came with tweezer and toothpick slots as well as an additional pen slot.
Pretty cool micarta scales on that SAK.:thumbsup:
Thank you Barrett, this old Tinker was neglected until I give it a new outfit.

For no rhyme or reason I'm gonna carry this 2002 single blade Peach Seed Antique Bone SS Sowbelly with me today to the Wagon Wheel Cafe for clam chowder and half a Caesar Salad and then on to the hospital to see if they've got the results of my echocardiogram and then on to other errands.

I "think" I'll switch to me pre - end days (US) Old Timer 80T and 1930's to 1947 Camillus 4 line EO Jack, for the "week end".
(i r still unconvinced the first day of the week ("Sunday") belongs in the "weekEND".)

I might swap out the 8OT on Monday or Tuesday for the Robeson 622110.

Hi! Nice carries! Can you tell me something about that fixed blade? I do like the looks of it. I'm curious about the blade steel, handles, and the maker. Thanks in advance!

That's a pattern GEC really needs to bring back. Very nice, Paul.

Thanks Barrett, in the old days ;) I remember when this pattern sat for months on certain websites. I wouldnt expect that to happen these days with this pattern. They are hard to come by thats for sure:)

I remember hearing that about that pattern, although I think they had pretty much all sold by the time I got into GEC (late 2015). Still, there was plenty of other stuff sitting on dealers shelves when I started, and I only bought half as many of those knives as I should have. 😁
