What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I couldn’t choose, so I grabbed them all. 🫣🤣
Maybe Barrett means "Prepared for indecision"? 🤣. I dig how your Albers and 39 have complimentary plump butts. Have a great weekend Patrick!
Hi! Nice carries! Can you tell me something about that fixed blade? I do like the looks of it. I'm curious about the blade steel, handles, and the maker. Thanks in advance!
Good Friday to you as well Gary! Thank you, its a Spike by Simon Stonehocker, Cpm CruWear@63hrc, Stabilized Redwood Burl handles. My most carried fixed blade, it's beat out another Stonehocker...

I had a mail call and swapped knives, so here's another pic.

Boy .... that old Micarta is very nicely done. I might be a convert. 🐸
Plus my favorite Buck with those old looking handles and even the new 39 looks a little old too. You picked well today my friend !😍😍😍
Golden indeed ! ;)

Well, it appears the cat is out of the bag. Looks like there might be another one around like it since you gave up the details ............. or twenty more ! ;)🤣
I do like that ole Spike Cru-Wear quite a bit though, whatever Cru-Wear means.
Nice mail call too. 😊

Edit : See post above mine and you'll see what I meant ! 🤣

Thanks Mr. P! I was probably grinning ear to ear when I realized that Buck matched the two others so well. 😁

Regarding that old Polish micarta.. if you're feeling froggy then jump! 🐸🤣

Today's carry is a GEC #23 Pioneer Trapper in 440C and Brown Jigged Bone.
Web site suggests these were made in 2009, but the blade is marked 2008. Bought back in the day when buying a GEC was just a matter of deciding which spectacular knife you wanted, and they still made knives in 440C.
