What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Nothing better than an evening at the lake!! Still toting the 1979 Appaloosa and 2019 Premium Stag and enjoying the beautiful evening. As the days get shorter the sun sets further and further to the left and by the time I head back south in late-October, we lose these beautiful sunsets.

Turns out if you cut up a whole lot of stuff and get a huge stock pot full of salsa to can up, don’t just leave it simmering just because you got to not feeling good. And getting banned from the kitchen…
These sweet peppers will wait for the next try.
Those peppers should kill what ails you. If they are warm as they look, they have a little heat.
Hope you are on the mend my friend

Banned from the kitchen! Hope you didn't ruin the pot. I once fell asleep while cooking something on the stove. By the time the smoke detector went off...I took one look at the pan threw it outside 😛
the yellow knife on the red peppers is a great pic :thumbsup:
The pot’s fine, but about four gallons of salsa went into the compost.
I’m glad you like that pic!
Good knives and harvest 👍🤠

Good pic of your Scout Trapper! One of my most favorite GECs.
Thanks, David!
It is a very good year for peppers at my house🤙
Wishing you a speedy recovery Jeff.
Thank you, Bob!
Hope you are on the mend Jeff! Love the Schrade.
I think I am! And thank you.
I sweated those little viral invaders to death.

No, sorry. They are sweet, not hot. Grilled, they’re very tasty.
The hots were not shown.

Exquisite camel bone on that English Jack Pat!
Thank you! There was a lot of variation in this release and I’m very happy with the one I received. 😁

I’ve been meaning to tell you, I bought this sauce you mentioned recently and it’s fantastic. It’s better than I thought it would be, I’ll have to try some other flavors as well. Thank you! 👍

Thanks, Bart. The location is hard to beat! Our particular cottage has an awfully small kitchen, though. The place has a nautical decorating theme, which is very fitting on the shore of one of the Great Lakes, but I'm not sure I like a boat's galley instead of a kitchen. If wifi cooperates, I'll post a photo of the kitchen with fridge door open to full extent, considerably less than 90˚. Makes getting into the crisper drawer quite a challenge!

That looks good from all angles, Bart!
BTW, belated happy wedding anniversary! If I did the math correctly, you got married in 2002, a palindromic year. That's got to be good luck for a marriage.

Luckily you’ve got a good location and you’re not there to hang out inside. What I notice aside from the door is that it’s time for another beer run😁

Thanks Gary. You are correct on 2002. I feel like I’ve been pretty lucky so far, maybe it does have to do with the palindrome year. More rare than I realized, won’t be another one til 2112!
