Turns out if you cut up a whole lot of stuff and get a huge stock pot full of salsa to can up, don’t just leave it simmering just because you got to not feeling good. And getting banned from the kitchen…
These sweet peppers will wait for the next try.
The pot’s fine, but about four gallons of salsa went into the compost.Banned from the kitchen! Hope you didn't ruin the pot. I once fell asleep while cooking something on the stove. By the time the smoke detector went off...I took one look at the pan threw it outside
the yellow knife on the red peppers is a great pic![]()
Thanks, David!Good knives and harvest
Good pic of your Scout Trapper! One of my most favorite GECs.
Thank you, Bob!Wishing you a speedy recovery Jeff.

No, sorry. They are sweet, not hot. Grilled, they’re very tasty.Hope you are on the mend my friend
Thank you! There was a lot of variation in this release and I’m very happy with the one I received.Exquisite camel bone on that English Jack Pat!

Luckily you’ve got a good location and you’re not there to hang out inside. What I notice aside from the door is that it’s time for another beer runThanks, Bart. The location is hard to beat! Our particular cottage has an awfully small kitchen, though. The place has a nautical decorating theme, which is very fitting on the shore of one of the Great Lakes, but I'm not sure I like a boat's galley instead of a kitchen. If wifi cooperates, I'll post a photo of the kitchen with fridge door open to full extent, considerably less than 90˚. Makes getting into the crisper drawer quite a challenge!

That looks good from all angles, Bart!
BTW, belated happy wedding anniversary! If I did the math correctly, you got married in 2002, a palindromic year. That's got to be good luck for a marriage.
