What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

The Holiday spirit has officially now taken me over.. :)

All today been a tote'n this large(4 1/4 inches closed) Case Equal End Cigar pattern in Christmas Tree Celluloid(no pattern number) from the 1930's.. This old gal is heavy duty to say the least.. God forbid if I ever get any of my fingers in the way of the snap on her. The blades sounds like a guillotine when she snaps shut. And loud, you can hear it half way down the road too..

I've always wondered what the old boys thought back in the day when Case brought out that Christmas tree pattern... That was some perrty wild lookin material. Thats a great specimen

Yes, the celluloid scales are kinda wild.. I don't even know if they called these Christmas Tree celluloid back then, but that is what the familiar name is to me.

One of our treasured female members here calls it Robot Puke. :p :D

The family is going to a (casual) high school band dinner tonight and I have my Case 6318 HE stockman with me today.

440 razor sharp according to the stamp on the thinner blade. It's sharp but not as sharp as the straight I shaved with this a.m. so I would call it false advertising.;)

Today, I've got a different sort of traditional knife riding with me... This one's not a super high-quality knife, but it's sturdy, inexpensive, and actually takes & holds a decent edge. Hope some of you guys appreciate this style as much as I do.
Made by Falcon, Italy.
