I've just oiled the joints.

Beauty of a knife Mr.P. I like the balance between handle and blade.😍

Thank you my friend.

Hard to imagine a more appealing stockman than that one: round bolsters with tasteful groove, almost-sunk joints, clip/sheep/spay blade combo, sensational color/jigging, classic shield! How big is that one?

Thank you GT. It's three and five eighths inches closed.

I agree with Bob, Beautiful knife Mr. P! 😍

I think I'm starting to acquire a preference for equal end/pen knives, not sure of the exact terminology, I just know that I like blades on opposite ends because they seem to be made a little slimmer. I'm carrying this 78 today and as I was reading your post, I thought I should have grabbed a 32 Engineer since the blade selection on those is comparable, but it's much slimmer.

Anyways... enough ramblings, here's a pic!👍

Thank you and it really is a slim knife in your pocket. Nicely rounded though. You picked a real nice one to tote, regardless.😍
I was looking at them on the aftermarket and they were asking unreasonable prices for that 78 like yours. 🤬
I really wanted to find the whiskey barrel model, since I live in the heart of whiskey making country, but, a no go there either.

Top-notch Case. Whoooo!

Thank you and I have to agree with you. Case did a fine job on that stockman .......1965-69 era. 😍

That’s an odd one. Do you know what year?
Camillus closed in 2007. I bought the knife in that time frame.
Just out of idle curiosity, what is its closed length?
2 3/4" closed.
I have not found a Remington pattern that matched both the blade (clip and pen) and handle configuration (serpentine with round bolsters). Which is not to say there isn't one. Perhaps I just have not found it. But I still lean toward it's being a parts knife.

edited to add: I did a search for "Remington pen knife" tonight and found that Bear and Son made a Remington Pen knife in their "Model 870 series". They gave it the pattern number R19972. Aside from the walnut covers on the Bear knife, it appears to be a fair match. Same size and blades.

Thanks Bart. I am enjoying seeing your Catt.
Sorry to hear you are losing some grazing acres. On the flip side, happy it is not being lost to housing development.
Good looking herd being offloaded. Hate you are losing ground
Thanks guys. It’s a real bummer losing that ranch. It is nice that it will still be grazed. Not much development up in that area. We’ll either have to find more summer feed or downsize. Something will work out. It always does.

Woke up knowing exactly what knives I would carry today, dunno why just craved these.
The joints on the SAK need cleaning, they're full of caulking and peanut butter 🤢
Awesome Micarta trio, FC. I especially like the inlayed Micarta on the fixed blade. That must be a new one.
