What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks for sharing your trip with us! These scenes are so very cool!

I am lovin' that Boker!

That Possum Skinner is sweet! 😍

So awesome to have your dad's EDC. Hope your trip with it was memorable. I have an old Marlin 30-30 that was my dad's when he was a kid. My son wants a 1894 really bad -- let me know what you think lol!

Ah man it is so hard to see 'em facing struggles. Hope that the redo doesn't require a re-redo!! She's a beautiful friend. Reminds me of one of your old posts, something about one of them will cut you and the other will hug(?). haha

Shaky or no that's a cool pic!

Love the Castlewood barlows. 🤩

Bad form to reply to one's own post but I couldn't find Tyson A Wright Tyson A Wright Tyson's post earlier. Still makes me laugh.

8 ... because 8 days a week
And today will be tomorrow's yesterday which is exactly when I faced this "what will I tote" decision dilemma

The Red Bone Damascus I picked up in 1990
The 112 was purchased in about 1988 which means not only is it real wood but the steel is 425M
... before Buck went to 420HC in 1992(?)
The others I've picked up along the way. And there's more from BUCK in drawers around here.

Anyway, I'll have to decide and settle on one to tote ... or two ... just need to give it time

Lacey has been through a lot in the last two and half years:
  • Knee surgery to fix her left knee
  • Hematoma in her right ear
  • Hematoma in her left ear (both ears used to be pointy but now they flop over)
  • Jaw surgery removing the tip of her jaw and the front row of teeth to eliminate a cancerous growth
  • Knee surgery to fix her right knee
  • And now it looks like the right knee surgery didn't quite work, so we're looking at a second operation (and a slight possibility that there will be a follow-up surgery to that follow-up surgery)
And yet she remains cheerful and seems to be having fun. She does need me to stop typing on this dumb phone, though - it's foodie time, Dad!

That’s a tough couple of years. Glad she’s still in good spirits. She looks like a sweetie.
