I wish I could relate. My Marlin lever action was inherited from my 5'3" 110 lb. mom. I know for a fact that she took at least one whitetail when I was about 5 years old. Now I'm left trying to picture her riding that bear! It’s great to keep Dad’s memory alive.

She is a gorgeous lady Tyson.Lacey has been through a lot in the last two and half years:
And yet she remains cheerful and seems to be having fun. She does need me to stop typing on this dumb phone, though - it's foodie time, Dad!
- Knee surgery to fix her left knee
- Hematoma in her right ear

- And now it looks like the right knee surgery didn't quite work, so we're looking at a second operation (and a slight possibility that there will be a follow-up surgery to that follow-up surgery)

Poor thing, she looks like a sweetheart.
Here's to Lacey!!!![]()
Tyson A Wright - Floppy ears or not, Lacey is quite the gal and I can sure as heck relate to her jaw cancer surgery. Good on ya for taking such good care of her.
Thanks for the well wishes, friends. I passed them along to Lacey in the form of a treat, which is her love language. (Her brother Whiskey got a treat too, and I assured him that lots of people like him, too.)She is a gorgeous lady Tyson.
I hope she recovers to bring some comfort to her remaining years.
Pocketing my Late fathers EDC that he carried for many years. Little 525x Buck. I think he would have been happy to make todays trip with me, going to purchase a used Marlin 1894c carbine that I have had my eye on.
