Maybe GEC had @SteveC’s Challenge Cutco jack in front of them during the drawing board stage?Today's carry is the 2019 Forum knife, a GEC#66, which GEC identified as a Barehead Sailor's Rope Knife with African Blackwood covers.
They may be in my eyes the most gorgeous covers of any knife I own.

Problem is, he didn’t use the gate, and he totally disrespected my fig tree in the process. He fell right in the center of it and crushed the pool fence. But I was very blessed to have no trees on the house.

The blank that the cutler used on your knife was rescued from the cutoff pile in a mill where they made very Exibition Grade gunstocks. Lovely piece of wood, Yann.
