What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Echoing JonMcD JonMcD , doing some property repairs & cleanup after Hurricane Helene came through & clipped the Carolina's on her way through here.

We didn't get hit directly but the winds were still bad enough to damage a lot. It blew some siding & the shutters off of the front of our house. I found one shutter at the neighbors property, I have no idea where the other shutter flew off to...
I'm repairing some damaged fence today. Luckily we have power now. Both my parents & in-laws are still without since yesterday morning... They are currently running generators for basic amenities.

At my grandfather's property a tree fell & took out his carport along with his truck & two tractors. You can barely see his pickup, a blue Ford tractor & an antique red IH Farmall Cub under the mess.

I hope everyone in the South-East U.S. is doing ok after the storm, & also our friends abroad. Be safe everyone.
 
Today's carry is a Boker-Solingen Serpentine Jack in 440C with Bog Oak covers.
(It is 4" closed, but looks smaller next to the Super Black Hawk. )

Thanks Bob, I'm glad no one on our end was injured as well. Luckily it wasn't as bad as it could've been. Alot of people got hit much harder than us.
For us it's just repairing relatively minor property damage & dealing without power for now. The tree that took out my grandfathers truck was the worst part for our family.
The power is restored to our part of the county so a lot of people are flooding over to our area to get supplies. I understand the struggle & hope the best for them.

This one didn't make the cut today: Was originally a splotchy Blue Bone color and I was having a hard time living with it. So I gave it a RIT Dye, Apple Cider Vinegar and salt, warm bath spa treatment.
I wasn't sure I'd like the result. I mean but it does have a sparkle and twinkle like the moustache of a man with a cold and it has grown on me like a colony of E. coli and I was room temperature Canadian beef.
So now it has me hooked ... like a toenail stuck in a Black Plum shag carpet. But just got bumped today. While waiting to photo my lucky game knife, it just sat there like an inanimate object ... so I took a shot ...

So glad there was no major damage, but you gotta hate when a storm takes out things like that. Another full day of cleanup for us in the Upstate. I hope everybody in the Midlands gets restored power quickly.
