The morning's duds, just shed, as I'm about to be wearing drywall mud. At least I looked respectable until noon? The yellow diamond ring was inherited from great Grandpa, I wouldn't have bought myself that (I would buy like 30 knives instead).
Yeah, one time I found myself in Florida facing a week with no pocket knife and no guitar. So we did a search of pawnshops in Ft. Myers, and my father in law drove me around. Second place yielded up a Chinese Squier Stratocaster for $99. Haggled down to $90 including tax. Then I found a plastic handled Victorinox paring knife for a dollar. I wanted it because I planned on fishing around the bridge going to Sanibel Island. I used cereal box cardboard and duct tape to make a pocket sheath. Put a shaving edge on it using the bottom of a china coffee mug, but never caught any fish to use it on. They had something going on that had caused a big fish kill.Traveled up to Vermont this week, we're close by Canadas border! This is the farthest the Mrs & me have traveled for vacation. Its over 1,000 miles from where we live.
I didn't carry anything Monday due to TSA stinginess... So I picked up this Sodbuster Jr at a local hardware store here in town where we're staying.

P.S. To our northern friends on the porch, We had poutine for the first time here. Definitely an odd dish for us, but it's actually pretty good
Have a good one y'all!
