It’s one of my favorite examples of judge bone I have ever owned. They nicknamed this one the “Phoenix” and it certainly fits quite well.

They dyed the bone so deep that for months after I got this one it would still leave me with slightly orange fingers from using and handling it

I haven’t noticed the orange fingers in a bit, but that’s a very good idea. I’ll definitely give it a shot if it starts leaching it out again or any of my other knives do it.
