What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Congrats on the 86. Nothing better than receiving a knife from a fellow member.
Well done @pat9198👍🏻
Thanks Bob & yes it is a great feeling to be a part of this community here on the porch. It's full of great people who are always willing to help out, not just with the acquisitions of something you might be searching for but are always there with any help or info needed that they can give. This place is a gold mine for that. Y'all have helped me a lot, even before I joined up & was just lurking around.

So thanks again everyone! Y'all bunch of enablers! 🤣😎👍

Got the 38 whittler today and did a little Jack-o-lantern carving.

Hammer Brand Saturday, courtesy of the New York Knife Co., circa 1852-1929. The Great Depression of 1929 closed the curtains on this once major knife company. By most accounts, the final two years from 1929 to 1931 consisted of night watchmen being the only working employees. What goes around ... comes around .............. 🤔

Will, your knife is a beauty. It has everything to like, from pinched bolster to easy open. The worn stag puts it over the top!😍
Bob
Very nice of you to say so Bob, thank you. It's a strongly sprung knife so the EZ Open is handy and it's very sharp too so you have to take care shutting it with that loaded half-stop :D Shield inlet is very satisfying, such a pity they no longer do this on their Stag knives.

Regards, Will
