What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Cattaraugus Cattle Knife ..... model 32209CG on back of the main blade. I noticed that Catt used the round disc shield on some models after 1930. It wouldn't be my first choice for a shield, but, not my last either. I wonder if they didn't intend it for initial engraving, which was the fashion when I was a kid. I've been toting this every day since Friday and working on cleaning it up all weekend, which left not so much time for the totin' thread. I think it turned out nice. Hard snaps on all three blades and purty bone. Three and five eighths inches closed. 😊 🍂🍁

Love the jigging on that Catt. 😍
Shame no one has jigging like that anymore. ☹️
Not surprising tho. It probably can't be machine made, so it wouldn't be/isn't cost effective ... besides, jigging by hand is likely now a lost art and skill. 🤔🥺

I am FAR behind (7 pages) in this thread! o_O :(
And it's already Monday of the new week, and I haven't posted any of the knives I'm carrying this week. I'll post 4 knives now, eat some Mint Moose Tracks ice cream, and go to bed.

Thanks to a recent hailstorm, we got a new roof today on both the house and my shed.

It was a crew of Mexican roofers, any of whom, including the one female, could work circles around me. All I did was stay out of their way and watch while busying myself in the garden.
They must be tired, because I am exhausted from watching them.
