What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Taking a quick break on my drive south for the winter. After seeing Modoc ED Modoc ED post one beautiful Sowbelly after another, I had to get one. I stumbled across this smooth antique bone version. Excuse the bad picture, but fit and finish is great and I am loving this pattern. The hunt continues for a single-blade version.

Cattaraugus Cattle Knife ..... model 32209CG on back of the main blade. I noticed that Catt used the round disc shield on some models after 1930. It wouldn't be my first choice for a shield, but, not my last either. I wonder if they didn't intend it for initial engraving, which was the fashion when I was a kid. I've been toting this every day since Friday and working on cleaning it up all weekend, which left not so much time for the totin' thread. I think it turned out nice. Hard snaps on all three blades and purty bone. Three and five eighths inches closed. 😊 🍂🍁
