What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I've been sick to a varying degree for several weeks now. Yesterday breathing got hard to the point that I was out of breath walking to the mailbox. Not that far and not normal. Got diagnosed with pneumonia this morning. Got some new drugs 🤞
I was leaving for Tennessee on Sunday, but that's cancelled unless I get a lot better by Sunday. Come on miraculous recovery :D

Apparently the "apple a day" doesn't always work 🙁
I had a Case 87 jack with me at the Doc's. Used it to cut off the wrist tag. I haven't carried this one in far too long. I fear I have too many nice knives 🤪

Hopefully those meds put you back on the right track! There is a lot of what they are calling walking pneumonia around this year unfortunately.

Take it easy and heal, takes awhile to get over my Dad spent a week in ICU in October with pneumonia still getting over it.
Too many nice knives, you must be delirious 😝
Look after yourself Mike.

Thanks guys. For most of the time I haven't really felt bad, just an irritating, persistent cough. Up until a couple of days ago I've been doing my daily workout, albeit slightly less rigorous, with no problems. The shortness of breath is a new exciting addition :rolleyes: I got some prednisone to help with the breathing in addition to a course of antibiotics 🤞

Welcome back, Lance! :):thumbsup: I certainly remember you, especially for some great deals you gave me in the Exchange. I'm glad you insisted that the Case canoe I wanted to buy was a "package deal" with a Case 6347 stockman I wasn't really interested in, but I discovered it's my favorite Case stockman pattern, except for sowbelly stockman. And speaking of sowbellies, one of my favorites is the Black Box Winchester sowbelly you sold me.

Sorry to hear they had to remove your colon, Dan; hope your recovery will be complete and as quick as possible.

Belated congrats on the latest addition to your family, Jack! :thumbsup::cool:🤓:thumbsup: Other the other kids excited about Elliot's arrival, or do they find him lacking in useful abilities so far?

That quintuple-bladed Case sowbelly is awesome! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool: I remember looking for 5-blade sowbellies in the past, but couldn't find one at the time. But I just ordered a Rough Ryder version this morning; merry Christmas to me! 🤓
Congrats on the Bills' big win Sunday!

Beauty, Bob! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: Your numerous Rosecraft examples remind me of a German Christmas carol from about 1600 that I don't really know beyond its title, "Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming" (German original title, "Er Ist Ein Ros").

Jeff, it's good to see your Peanut! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup: Do you carry it quite often, even though it doesn't show up in many of your photos? What do you use it for when you carry it?

As someone who has spent countless hours "processing" fallen leaves the past 3 or more weeks, I'm going to have to say that buying pretty leaves to spread on your lawn is MADNESS! :eek:o_O You should be locked up, John!😁

Mitch, your black wood spear from Sabot is very distinguished! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Handsome old knife, José! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Classic pattern! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

That stag Grohmann is stellar, Jeff! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Fantastic knife in its own right, and a treasure as an heirloom. How old is it? Striking red bone and jigging! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Epitome of elegance, Mike! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Excellent pattern and color! :cool::cool::thumbsup: I got a Chinese brown sawcut Delrin version from Tractor Supply a couple of years ago, and it's one of my favorite lockbacks.

Good story and photos! 🤓🤓:thumbsup:
Of course, it just confirms for me that cats are creatures that are totally incomprehensible to me, not only a different species, but probably from a different dimension/universe! o_O

How do you like the checkered covers on your Marble's Barlow, José? I'm thinking of ordering a knife with that style of covers since it looks very good to me.

Those sleeveboard 26s are quite attractive! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Splendid punch stockman, FBC! :cool::thumbsup::cool: What model number is that? I have quite a few RR amber jigged bone patterns that I like.

Kool Kamp-King! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Outstanding knife! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I always enjoy your daily collections (usually trios) of knives and the colorful fabrics on which you display them! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Glad Utah is doing better, ED! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

What are the sausage disks? They remind me of the summer sausage I usually keep on hand. :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Spectacular ebony lambsfoot! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Is that a Case pen knife, Chris? Nice! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:
I have one just like it that's probably my favorite small Case.

They are Hillshire Farms summer sausage from one of the holiday gift sets.
