I had some pizza afterwards, but didn't stay for putting up the Christmas decorations. I didn't dare, because I'm wearing a heart monitor!
My grandmother used to say that there's no point being old if you can't be artful.

Clanking, but cheerful?

I carry a tool bag into church too. But just for guitar stuff ~ cables, isolated power supply, and tuner and boost pedals. The tuner because nobody wants to hear an out of tune guitar. The boost pedal because our soundman sets our levels before the piano kicks in.
But so far, no big knives. The music helps with the cheerful part
Rufus1949 gave me a pistol case into which I can fit pedals. The first time I used it, the soundman, who shoots in combat pistol competion, did quite a double take when he saw it.

Thanks! Yes they are worth a fortune now. Unfortunately we had to sell that Dodge back when the market crash/depression happened in '08. Our family business was construction doing foundation & concrete work then, which of course took a huge hit & we had to make due & ride out the hard times. It was one of the things that had to be sacrificed then. That & my 1978 F150 4x4... Oh well, still got the memories.

I'm in the process of fixing up my grandfather's 1974 F100 now. 390 & 3 on the tree! This is his old work truck. He was a Ford man too
