Stockman Sunday today. Schrade & Bulldog. One for work & one for play...

Rufus1949 Rufus1949 We were talking about hotrods yesterday & "may or may not have caused some trouble in our youth", you mentioned your dad had a GTO. My dad had a 1974 Challenger. I don't have a pic on my phone of it but here's a brochure I have of the same car. Canary yellow & everything 😂
His just had black on the hood scoops & fatter tires & a spoiler on the back. It had a warmed over 360 & a "slapstick" auto. Man that thing was quick. Could keep up with alot of big blocks until it started to get over 100 mph. But it handled a lot better during turns... Hypothetically that is... 🤣

Very nice choice of carries. That is a sweet ride worth a fortune today!
Those were great cars and hp was always under rated to public.

My 56 f100 has a 460 big block. I can never get all the power to the ground.
These are tucked away with friends rides. Yes Im a Ford man.20230309_122110.jpg

Maybe dumping a couple of yards of concrete in the bed would help Bob. 😉

Happy Sunday to all and I hope everyone is staying healthy out there!

I have my little yellow and red colonial pen knife with me today to root on the Chiefs. Also pictured is my Le Cinq Coqs that hasn't wanted to leave my pocket for a few days. We are putting up Christmas decorations today before the game

Thanks! Yes they are worth a fortune now. Unfortunately we had to sell that Dodge back when the market crash/depression happened in '08. Our family business was construction doing foundation & concrete work then, which of course took a huge hit & we had to make due & ride out the hard times. It was one of the things that had to be sacrificed then. That & my 1978 F150 4x4... Oh well, still got the memories.

I'm in the process of fixing up my grandfather's 1974 F100 now. 390 & 3 on the tree! This is his old work truck. He was a Ford man too 😉

Here he is with his old race car back in the day, long before I was born.

Anyway here's some knife content, don't want to get this thread off track. So here's a Queen Whittler & Imperial Barlow of his😉

It's been a little bit since I've posted. Sorry about that y'all, you know how life gets in the way sometimes.
Anyway, catching up... My aunt & cousin flew in from Texas last weekend. They stayed here for a few days. It was nice to see them again & catch up. It's been a few years since I've seen them last.
I felt the Yellow Rose #97 was appropriate for the occasion, I also had the Waynorth Harness Jack with me over the past weekend.

I just swapped between the GEC Bull Moose & the Bull Hide Carver this last week for work.

Now that things have calmed down & we're getting some much needed rest I've got the S&M "Pickle Jack" & the Case/Bose Eureka Jack with me.
I dug out this old book for a coworker of mine. I let him get my old 1964 Ford Falcon from me for a father son project.

Here it is after we dropped it off at his place. 1964 Falcon 200 C.I. straight six engine & manual three speed on the column. It may not be a big V8 fire breather but it's still a fun car to drive around. I'm glad to see it go to a good home, him & his son will make some great memories with it.

Hope y'all are doing well, have a great weekend!
Nothing wrong with a six banger. One of the best cars I owned was a Dodge Dart with a 225 slant six 👍
Oh my, what a beauty 😍

I always thought the lighter small blocks were a little better balance for the pony cars. That said I had a friend with a 383 Challenger and yeah, it would GO
I had two 360's. They made good power, but man they sucked gas. Worse than the big blocks I owned.

New to this forum and have enjoyed looking at all the knives here .. not that I've had time to look at all those posted, the sheer numbers will take a while to leaf through. I favor a scout pattern for everyday life, alternating with the small Swiss Army descendant of the scout .. like this Ulster, which still takes a good edge ..

Welcome! There always seems to be more content to go through than time. Not that I am complaining though, it just means more knife and related stuff to browse through.

Wecome to the porch. You have started with a sweet jigged knife. I have always liked a bail.
