What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

That's the most well-worn DF lamb I've seen thus far! 👏 I wonder if they do re-blades? 🤔
Congrats on the chestnut jigged teardrop, Chris!:cool::thumbsup:
I like mine a lot, but I certainly don't carry it a lot. o_O:rolleyes:

Chestnut, CV, straight edge... Not much to complain about! First one I've seen come up for sale, so I HAD TO HAVE IT. If I'm being honest, I think the two-blade swayback still holds the "Best Case Chestnut" trophy. 🤷‍♂️ Did you know that Case made a YELLOW teardrop??? 😲
Thank you! It's my favourite pattern as well.

Absolutely stunning!!! 😍

Just fixed High Speed Steel, non stabilized Bocote, covered in Danish Oil.....Copper, Aluminum, and Bronze. It's been my "fondling knife" for about a year..... might leave.

It's my second bead. I made it on a old, run down, manual lathe and files.

Nice old S&M Jack, there Greg.
Thanks, my friend. It's one from the heritage series, a replica of one from the Schatt and Morgan catalogs early 1900's. Steel liners and pins, Norway iron bolsters, rosewood handles.
I hope you're enjoying the getaway/wedding weekend. Are you like me and always search out the good BBQ joints when ya travel? 🐖:)

I went for a little trundle on the outskirts of the city centre.

Oops I forgot my knife, but I always have a decent SAK in the car glovebox along with a few bits of EDC.

Its always good to see/find something new in an area ive been to before.

From Bill Clinton to very well spoken Chines girls doing some kind of cosplay stuff they were freezing they told me (dont ask me ive no idea, it seemed a bit bizzare/blade runnerish to me). 😆

I don’tlook for this stuff It just finds me.🤭

Great photos today Mr.J.👍🏻

It's been a busy weekend...
My mother in-law twisted both ankles in a fall, luckily nothing is broken. It could've been alot worse.
Mrs. Hoovie & I took her some meals so she doesn't have to worry about cooking anything & can focus on resting. The glennbad glennbad Schrade helped to cut up some flowers to cheer her up.

Later on this afternoon I went down to my parents to help my dad fill out some of the washed out areas & repair the foundation for their house from the previous storm damage. (Still repairing things from hurricane Helene)
The BF knife continues to ride shotgun in pocket.
It's been a while since I've had to mix concrete/mortar mix in a wheelbarrow. Can't say I missed it...

I hope y'all are doing well 👍
