Unsure about this particular knife but kabar used to be Union cut co which was tied to Olean Ny. and then later to titusville where GEC is made. Could have the cities backward but kabar did make their own stuff in the USA. Someone might be able to correct me hereCarrying this Kabar Rancher. This arrived yesterday and I couldn't be more pleased. I'm having trouble finding information on it like age and maker. I am not aware if Kabar makes their own knives.

Thank you. I've seen a few that are stamped Olean New York. This one does not have an origin stamped. Kabar, Rancher, and on the spey WRA90. No steel type either.This is actually a pretty cool timeline from kabars website that talks about it
