Yes, a mild spell last week or two, but that seems to be ending as more normal winter weather is rolling on in. Sleet and snow today.

Our mild spell has been several weeks long. Tulips, irises and lilies sprouted. Turning more normal tonight.
Yep sleet and snow on New Year's Eve. Another good reason to stay home or be off the roads early.

Winter of '80/'81, my best girl and I came to terms in a bar in Lombard. Went back to her house, and told her folks. Dad walked over to a high kitchen cabinet, and pulled out a bottle of whiskey. Poured two shots, and started in about the dowry.

On the way home from the doctor's appointment up in Klamath Falls, Oregon yesterday, I stopped at our mailbox and danged if this 2001 SS Sowbelly didn't fall out of the mailbox. Seems to be raining Sowbellys around here lately. I'll carry it today when we go to town. Scrambled eggs and semi cooked bacon for breakfast. All I can do with the bacon is chew/gum it a bit and suck on it like a lollypop.
