Closing out the year with the Western C742 for my pocket carry.
Not sure yet what I will have in pocket 01-01. Maybe the 8OT, Case 6375, or yellow RR Classic Carbon 4.24" closed stockman ... or Bunny #291 and Guardians Lamb?
I've not decide yet if I'll carry the same in pocket 01-01 to 01-31.

In my (potentially biased) humble opinion, Patina upgrades both purdy and class ... and reduces maintenance, by preventing rust/corrosion.

Both are beauties.

Understandable. A versatile pattern, and usually rugged construction.
A large stockman of one make or another has been part of my EDC for the better part of 63 years or so.

I was originally planning on just carrying my purple #81 (Not-A-Waynorth) today...
But after seeing timgiesel post I decided to make my pockets a little heavier since I'm just at the house cleaning & organizing my shop. So I think I'll follow his lead & make some additions.

BTW Tim, it's funny that those two were your antique store finds. Those are the same exact two models I dug out of my Grandfather's garage a little while back, (except my Kamp-King has the vinyl worn off) so I'll join in on your choices today if you don't mind

I think the blade selection on mine is a little unusual (or the blade shapes are funky), but it cuts well and I like the way the stag bone looks.

Yep, he's still around. I got this Schrade he worked his glennbad "magic" on a little while back (August this year)
